Vietnam Airways has resumed its HCMC-Jakarta service after the Indonesian authorities lifted most Covid-19 restrictions for international guests.

There are three weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, however the provider plans to return to its pre-pandemic frequency of seven flights per week by the tip of this yr.

A one-way ticket on the route prices from VND7.35 million (US$314).

Indonesia has eliminated quarantine and Covid testing necessities in a bid to revive its tourism business.

In April Vietjet Air had restarted its service between HCMC and Bali in Indonesia.
